This is a lovely etching and soft-ground aquatint by Julian Trevelyan (1910 - 1988)
It is entitled Avignon, and dated 1972
It is a good quality impression and printed in colours on heavy Saunders paper

The aquatint is currently framed with a vintage matt chrome coloured metal frame.
The frame has quite heavy glass in it - this would probably have to be removed to posting in the UK. The frame is a vintage chrome / silver coloured one and measures: 82 x 62 cm.
If you wished it taken out of the frame - we would take £50 off the purchase price to allow you to get it framed to your own taste.
Signed, titled and with edition size in pencil inscribed along the bottom margin of the image
This beautiful print is from Trevelyan’s Provençal Suite (Turner 250).
It is No. 35 from a small limited edition of only 65 impressions produced.
It is in just lovely condition with no issues or conservation problems.
An impression of Avignon is also in the Tate Collection.
