This is a lovely large Buchan Pottery Coffee Pot, made by Buchan Pottery, who were based at Portobello, near Edinburgh (now closed).
It is certainly a most substantial piece of Scottish Pottery - standing at 9 inches in height.
It would hold about 2 1/2 pints of coffee... so you will certainly hit that caffeine high with this pot!

This lovely pattern is called Brittany - it features a stylised design of apples and pears; all hand painted.
