This is a very decorative vintage kitchen storage jar or container.
It would also look good for storing items inside on top of your Scandi-style bureau in your living room - or perhaps for storing cocktail accessories in on your cocktail bar.
It was not designed as an ice bucket - and has no plastic waterproof liner - but if you found an appropriate liner - it could always be used as such.
It is a nice dark brown teak colour with a beautiful graining to the wood.
The lid is a snug fit and with a little round flat wooden knop on the top.
The shape is tall and tapers in toward the top.

The base has the Gladmark logo on it - and states that it was made in Sun Valley in the USA.
You don't often find Gladmark pieces in the UK - and shipping from the States tends to be very expensive.
