This is a wonderful etching by the celebrated artist, George Soper (1870 - 1942)

It is a fine etching with lots of drypoint details - and depicts two darling little white West Highland Terriers.

The print is pencil signed by the artist - and dates to around 1925.

George Soper was an expert printmaker and gained most recognition during his lifetime as an etcher, and later as a wood engraver.

Over a career spanning three decades, he produced more than 500 prints. Both the British Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, include examples of his etchings in their collections.

Images of dogs are relatively rare in his work.

The original pencil-signed etching is in good condition and nicely framed for display.

UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Special Recorded Delivery  - this will be applied to your order at the checkout.
