This is a fine Norwegian bottle vase made by Arnold Wiigs Fabrikker.
It is a fine piece of studio pottery - and is very Scandinavian "folk art" in design and style.
It is not marked - but would have originally had a paper label - please see my other fine piece of AWF pottery.
The vase looks for traditional Scandinavian forms for inspiration. The exterior is textured and has incised decorations and a ribbed spiral on the neck. The interior has a glossy dark green glaze.
The AWF company was first established in 1943 - and ceased trading in 1977.
This bottle vase is in fine vintage condition with no damages. It is a fine piece for display - and obviously will look amazing on a Scandi-modern bureau or cabinet.
A fine studio item - it measures some 10 1/2 inches in height - and has a diameter on the base of just under 4 inches.
A very fair price for this attractive piece of vintage Norwegian pottery - please also see my other bowl with matching decoration - I could send the two pieces to you with a capped postage of £10.
