This is a rare piece of Minton Aesthetic Movement Ceramic Figurine.
It takes the form of a little Chinese Man Lying on his Back and Holding a large Bottle Vase on his Stomach. The vase can be filled with water and used as one.
It has a rich Minton Blue glaze.
It is in excellent condition and has no damage. It comes from my own personal collection - and I have kept it in my display cabinet for the last 15 years.
It is a lovely cabinet piece - measuring 5 3/4 inches in height.
These little novelty vases by Minton do not come up for sale very often and this is reflected in my asking price. It is probably an item for the specialist Minton collector.
