![Rare BRENTLEIGH WARE 1950s Atomic Amorphic Shaped Vase: San Rema Shape and Rarer Beige Colour](http://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/cdn/shop/products/il_fullxfull.1042901165_ns3f_{width}x.jpg?v=1586802846)
These pieces of abstract / atomic of Brentleigh Ware are now very hard to find, especially in such lovely condition.
These pieces have been in my own personal collection since the 1990s - and have always been stored away with care, which probably explains why they have no nasty damages.
The softer type of earthenware pottery which Brentleigh is made from is very prone to damage and it should never be soaked in water - as this over time causing flaking to the surface decoration and disfiguring losses of the paintwork.
This is a lovely amorphic shape vase - with two apertures on each upright section. It is is fully marked to the base - and it is a shape called San Rema.
This pattern was made was both a black background and this cafe creme or beige background colour. I think that the beige is a bit harder to find.
As you can see from my photographs in very good vintage condition.
Dimensions: Height at tallest is 7 ¾ inches; Width is 6 ¾ inches and the depth is 3 ½ inches.
