Rarer Pair of Victorian Staffordshire Spaniel Dogs / Wally Dugs. 9 inches in height. Unusual Gold Lustre Details
This is a fine pair of antique Victorian Staffordshire dogs - they take the form of a pair of seated chimney spaniels. They are a better quality pair - with finely modelled open forelegs and patches of gold / copper lustre on their bodies. The dogs' collars and chains also are picked out with lustres.
Each dog has yellow painted eyes.
They are genuine Victorian examples, and definitely NOT reproductions.
They are nicely modelled examples with no chips or cracks.
They are a matched pair, as created.
As you can see from my photographs - in really good antique condition with no damages.
They are an attractive pair and will look fabulous on a country kitchen dresser or on a fireplace in a Victorian parlour.
These are a nice domestic size. Height: 9 inches. Width: about 7 inches and Depth: 5 inches
Due to weight - probably UK posting only.
