This is a pretty piece of vintage hand blown Scottish art glass. It dates to around the 1950s.
It has a little polished pontil that you find on pieces of Monart glass - but I think that this piece is probably Vasart and made a little later than Monart pieces.
It is certainly a pretty example with quite subtle pastel colours.
The base colour is a pale grey tone - from which issues all around pretty lilac coloured swirls - and this blend in with the sugar pink colour around the rim.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Nice larger size - with a height of 7 1/2 inches. The diameter at the top is 5 1/2 inches - and at the bottom, it is just under 3 1/2 inches.
Unpacked it is 1.1 kg
A very fair price for a larger piece of vintage Vasart studio glass.
It will have to be sent as a medium-size parcel with Royal Mail in the UK.
