This is a nice little vintage set of Scottish porcelain birds that were made by Alastair Dunn at Arran.
In the early 1970s, Alastair Dunn began producing these fine miniature porcelain models at his pottery studio on the Isle of Arran. These are original figurines of seabirds that have the Arran stamp or labels on the base., as photographed.
Alastair Dunn continued to make these models throughout the 70s - until his death in 1986. They were popular with tourists to Arran - and are now much sought after by collectors.
The birds featured are a Pintail, Black-Headed Gull, a Puffin, Oyster Catcher, a Gannet - and the smallest one - which has no label etc.
They are being listed at under £10 for each individual example - which is a very good price. They will cost £4.95 to send to you in the UK with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
