This is such a stylish piece of antique Edwardian British Art Glass.
It dates to 1909 and was designed by Thomas Carney West for James Powell & Sons, London. It has an etched registration number on the base: 543290. This number was used by in 1909 for a variety of glass items, including vases and little perfume bottles.
Amethyst coloured glass is always much sought after - and this one is also an attractive Art Nouveau / Edwardian period design. The vase is a trumpet shape with fluted edges all around. It sits of a little raised round faceted foot.
The condition is excellent with no wear, damage or repairs.
