This is a nice piece of antique British Glass that dates to around the 1830s. It is a minimalistic shape - which fits well with period and more modern or contemporary interiors.
It is a lovely shape and has three applied glass hoops or rings on the neck section.
It comes with its original decorative mushroom-shaped stopper. This is in good condition - and a rare survivor these are often lost or damaged over the years.
It has been hand-blown with a polished pontil mark on the base.
It is in excellent antique condition with no clouding inside.
I can't believe this little decanter / or carafe has survived all this time in such a fine condition.
Dimensions: 9 1/2 inches in height. It has a diameter of 3 1/3 inches at the widest point.
Listed at a bargain price given its age and condition. I have taken a lot of images for your inspection.
