This is a stylish bone china coffee set by Susie Cooper (1902 - 1995).
It looks totally stylish in this much harder-to-find Black Keystone pattern (C2131) - the Old Gold tone design seems to be a much more common variant. I just love this in the black and white form. The design was first introduced by Wedgwood in 1969 - but is now discontinued.
This set is complete - and consists of 15 pieces: The large coffee pot, the milk or cream jug, the open sugar bowl, six coffee cups and six matching saucers.
As you can see from my images - this set is in pristine condition with no damages of any kind - it looks like it has never been used and is as good today as when it was made over 50 years ago!
As mentioned, the black version is now scarce. It would fit in with geometric op-art artworks being made by the British artist Bridget Reilly at this time.
My price takes into account the colour and its exemplary condition. You will not be disappointed with it.
It will be posted to UK locations only - and I will send it to you very carefully packed using Parcelforce Tracked service - this will cost about £10 and be applied to your order at the checkout.
