This is a very pretty little vintage sweetie tin - it is in lovely vintage condition, and dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s.
It takes the form of a box with its original cord carrying handle. It was made for George Horner - Makers of Good Sweets, England, as annotated on the inside of the lid.
The lid is decorated on the top with a cartoon image of Jack and Jill who have just fallen down the hill.
The sides have various nursery rhyme characters - including Mary and her Little Lamb, Old King Cole, Humpty Dumpty, Old Woman in a Shoe, amongst others.
The background of these images is a deep metallic blue.
Lovely condition with no scratches or dents. The lid is hinged and the inside lovely and clean.
