This is a very decorative vintage coffee set which was made in the 1950s in Germany.
It consists of the following; Coffee Pot, Milk Jug, Lidded Sugar Bowl, Five Cups and Saucers, as photographed. I have an extra yellow saucer - but the little yellow cup is now missing (reflected in the price).
The marker is Schonwald, as marked on the base.
The set is a great decorative one for a mid-century kitchen or display cabinet.
It is a fine quality item made of good quality porcelain - and the cups are a smaller size perfect for expresso coffees.
The dimensions of each piece are as follows: Coffee pot has an overall height of 6 ½ inches. From handle to spout it is 7 inches. The milk jug is 2 ¼ inches in height and from spout to handle it is 3 ½ inches. The lidded sugar bowl has a height of 2 ½ inches and a diameter of 3 inches. Each little cup is 2 ¼ inches tall – with a rim diameter of just over 2 ½ inches. The saucers have a diameter of 4 ¾ inches.
A very stylish set as you can see from my photographs.
