This is an interesting glass bowl that is Italian in origin and dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s.
Sadly, it has now lost its original paper label - on a stylistic basis, it is being attributed as being by BAROVIER AND TOSO.
The main body of the bowl is made of clear glass with a decorative swirl or spiral of clear aubergine coloured glass. The clean sections are embellished with gold aventurine flakes. The edges of the ruffled rim all around are a darker purple shade.
The vase is very organic in form - like a large flower head - the exterior has folds in the glass and the edge is ruffled like the edges of a flower.
Dimensions: Diameter is 9 inches, Height is about 3 inches. A sturdy and large piece of vintage hand-made Italian Art Glass - it is 1.4 grams in weight.
The bowl would look fabulous on display on a Scandi-modern coffee table. It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks and is listed at a fair price.
Due to the weight - I would probably have to send it to you with Parcelforce in the UK. This will cost £10 and applied to your order at the checkout.
