This is a pair of mid-century Scandinavian dessert plates.
They date to the 1960s and were made by Rorstrand and designed by Sigrid Richter (as annotated on the base).
I love this pattern - which is called Eden, and it features a large stylised sliced blue apple. The apple is surrounded by oodles of little abstract green leaves.
They are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks - one has a light scratch to the surface to the area of the right-hand side of the blue apple - you can hardly see these and only if you tip the plate to a raking light and look carefully. This is reflected in my reduced price for these - they still all display well and the scratches are very slight confined to the surface glaze and not the pattern itself. I have taken a close up image of this issue with the plate tilted to bright natural light.
These plates are highly collectable and my price is a fair one for this most sought after pattern.
