This is a lovely vintage clock dating to the 1970s.
It was bought in the 70s from British Home Stores in Edinburgh - and how do I know that! Well, it was bought by my mum and hung on our wall all this time! I think that I have some photos of it hanging at home!
This one is a good quality Metamec clock (as annotated on the battery section on the back) and detailed through the department store.
It is one of three similar clocks that I have for sale in my Iconic Edinburgh online store.
All are in good condition and are working.
They take a large size battery - these are very easy to buy so no searching around for specialist batteries.
As you can see from my images. It is a lovely vintage condition and a fine classic minimalistic design.
The face is a silver colour with a texture of subtle radiating lines on it. There is a chrome trim with ribbing in the metal - and the exterior is a white / cream tone. The face is covered.
It has a second hand.
The clock is easy to mount on your wall - and it measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and has a height of 2 1/4 inches.
Sold nice and clean and from a smoke-free home. All you need is to pop in a battery and all ready to hang on your wall.
