This is a lovely vintage clock dating to the 1970s.
It was bought in the 70s from British Home Stores in Edinburgh - and how do I know that! Well, it was bought by my mum and hung on our wall all this time! I think that I have some photos of it hanging at home!
This one is a good quality clock, West German in origin, and retailed through the department store.
It is one of three similar clocks that I have for sale in my Iconic Edinburgh online store.
All are in good condition and are working.
They take a large size battery - these are very easy to buy so no searching around for specialist batteries.
As you can see from my images. It is a lovely vintage condition and a fine classic minimalistic design.
The face is a matt black colour and covered with a clear hard plastic cover. The face is edged with silver chrome. This is attached to a white oblong shaped plastic backing, as photographed. It was made in WEST GERMANY. The thing that I love about this one is the bright orange second hand - it also has a day and date window to the right-hand side of the face.
It has a second hand.
The clock is easy to mount on your wall - and the black face measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The backing section is 8 x 8 x 1 1/2 inches.
Sold nice and clean and from a smoke-free home. All you need is to pop in a battery and all ready to hang on your wall.
