These are adorable little chunky glass fish bowls.
My listing is for the PAIR as shown in my photographs.
They are unmarked so I never knew who the maker of them was - but I have owned them since the 1980s and they were vintage then - so on stylistic grounds - I am assuming that they are late 1960s or early 1970s.
They are matching dishes made of moulded glass - there is a clear acid blue fish bowl and a lavender or lilac one.
They have a good bit of weight to them and are beautifully modelled.
I think that they are now pretty rare survivors as I have never seen other ones like them over the years.
They are made of thick glass and have a good bit of weight to them - and look better in real life than suggested in my photographs.
Dimensions - the width is 6 1/4 inches with a height of 5 inches. The stand about 2 inches tall.
They are really lovely and are very sculptural in form.
Would look great in a bathroom on a window ledge - or on a rosewood mid-century coffee table.
Each bowl weights just over 500 grams.
