These are lovely vintage pieces of mid-century Scottish Art Glass.
They all have the acid-etched signature: Vasart on the bottom of each plate, as photographed.
They can be used on their own as little fruit plates or plates for little cold savories.
They could also be used with my set of bowls on my Edinburgh Iconic online site.
The colour is very attractive with a mottled bubbled glass in pale lemon yellow and a burnt orange shade around the rims.
There are five of these fine plates which date to the 1940s / 1950s on offer here.
Being hand-made blown pieces - there is a little bit of graduation in the sizes.
Three are slightly larger in size: they measure 7 1/2 inches in diameter (each is 330 grams in weight).
The other two are a tad smaller with a diameter of 7 1/4 inches (310 grams in weight).
A bit harder to find now these wee serving plates - often broken through extended use over the decades.
Pricing these fine old plates up at £15 per plate - so fair price for these old handmade art glass one.
My set of five has no damages or cracks - and no scuffing to the surface.
SADLY, NO INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE ON THIS SET.
Due to weight, I would have to send this set with Parcelforce48. This would cost £10.
If you wished to also order the bowls - postage would be capped at £10 for you.
