This is a lovely pair of vintage Celtic design cufflinks.
They were made by the celebrated Scottish silversmith, John Hart and are marked on the back with his monogram.
They were probably made by a company called Hebridean Jewellery - who manufactured sterling silver jewellery based on traditional designs from the Pictish and Celtic periods. The business was established in 1974, on the Isle of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland.
It has a team of craftsmen making good quality jewellery. The workshop is led by John Hart, son of the celebrated designer and pioneer of the Scottish Jewellery revival in the 1940s.
These lovely pieces are finely crafted and of excellent quality. My sleeve links are in excellent condition - nice and clean and ready to wear.
I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
They date to around the 1960s / early 1970s.
These lovely vintage items by John Hart are sought-after - and this is reflected in my asking price. I will send them to you in a simple black card gift box.
They are on sale to the UK with free postage with the Royal Mail.
